OUR WEEKEND - REPTILE SHOPS, YANKEE CANDLES & FAMILY TIME

On Saturday we went out for the morning doing our weekly visit of the reptile shop (to stock up on food for our reps) and then took a quick detour to the Yankee Candle shop. I was in heaven and poor hubby watched Indie whilst I went round and smelt every single one. They even had Bacon, yes, a bacon scented Yankee Candle. What on earth?

Hubby was very nice and bought Indie and I a candle each. I chose the Cappaccino Truffle because it smells like coffee, chocolate and all things sweet, and hubby chose Indie a little baby powder jar for her bedroom.


We came home for Indie's afternoon nap and then went for a walk before coming back for some food and family time.



We let Indie stay up a little late to play and see the reptiles, she had a bath and then we said goodnight.


On Sunday we went for a bit of a road trip and ended up in the middle of a field at a car boot sale. Right next to it there was a lovely little farm shop with land where we saw some Alpacas and Chickens. Before heading home we had some lunch, and then spent the rest of the day lazing about the house.


This weekend has been pretty good weather and we've managed to get out of the house which always makes me feel really good. It shows in Indie too, she loves being outdoors. I am really looking forward to the summer when we can sit out in the garden in the longer evening and enjoy the last of the sun.
