OUR WEEKEND - HOMEMADE SOUPS AND BIRTHDAY PARTIES

This weekend was a happy one for us. Everything just seems to be going good for us lately which makes a change.

On Saturday morning we cleared out our shed. It's now ready to insulate and board up when hubby is ready to move our reptile collection into it. My dad helped with tip runs and we got so much more done than expected.

The rest of the day we just had a little family time.

After Indie's afternoon nap Kieran made up two big batches of soup. One creamy Tomato and one Pea and Mint, they were both delicious and we put them into freezer bags in individual portions for quick and simple lunches.

On Sunday we went to our niece's 5th birthday party and we ate way to much cake and party food. Indie went on the trampoline and loved the party poppers.

We even managed a half decent family photo. I'm really looking forward to our future.

What did you do this weekend?
