38 WEEKS PREGNANT (LAST BUMP UPDATE)

I can't quite believe that the time has come to do my final pregnancy update. This time next week I should hopefully be having my C-Section. I've still not been told whether my date is the 21st, 22nd or 24th but either way this'll be my last pregnancy update although if I'm still pregnant next Monday I might share a final bump picture. The time has flown and whilst my belly looks huge, it doesn't overly feel it, and I'm generally quite comfortable during the day and only experience discomfort and aching in the evenings which I think I'm pretty lucky for. The hip and pelvis pain has calmed down alot and I only really feel like it gets 'too much' during the night but I'm just grateful it's not during the day.

We've been out and about alot this week, trying to make the most of our time with Indie. We've joined her up to a little Gymnastics Club which she will start next month. We're hoping it will give her a little bit of a distraction and a treat as it's going to be a bit of an adjustment welcoming another little person into the household. It's a parent and toddler based club which focuses on fun and playtime and slowly introduces a bit of structured gymnastics activities as they get more comfortable being there. I'm pretty sure she is going to love it as she has so much energy, and loves to climb!

I'm sure I'll no doubt write some form of 'reflection on pregnancy' post in the near future as I had so many differences between this pregnancy and my first. This one was by far harder but we are so looking forward to meeting our little baby boy. I'll end with my 38 week bump picture.

  2. I hope all goes well with the birth. I'm 3 months behind you and am really starting to struggle with the hip and pelvis pain so it's good to read that it does get better/more manageable as pregnancy progresses!

  5. Wow that's such a perfect bump, I miss my bump so much but not so much that there'll be any more, two is enough for us! I hope Indie really takes to her gymnastics and makes a lovely big sister. Good luck with the birth, can't wait to see pictures of the little man x Thanks so much for linking up to #MaternityMondays
